1. The service
TAILGUARD sells informational reports about U.S.-registered aircraft, compiled from official public records (FAA Aircraft Registry, NTSB accident database, FAA Service Difficulty Reports, Federal Register). Each report is delivered as a PDF download.
2. Payment and delivery
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. After successful payment, your report is generated immediately and made available through a unique download link (valid 30 days, up to 5 downloads), also sent to your email address.
3. Refunds
No refund is provided once the report has been downloaded. If payment succeeded but you could not access your report, contact us and we will restore access or refund the purchase.
4. Limitation of liability
Reports are informational only (see our disclaimer). To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAILGUARD's total liability for any claim arising from a report or its use is limited to the price paid for that report. We are not liable for purchase decisions, maintenance decisions, or any indirect or consequential damages.
5. Acceptable use
Reports are licensed for your own use. Automated scraping of the preview service is prohibited; preview lookups are rate-limited.
